HOW TO'S, CARE AND TIPS TO GET THE MOST FROM YOUR ABBOO CANDLE CO PRODUCTS. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR FRAGRANCE PRODUCTS AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND PETS.

Product Use & Care

Candles

For a Safe and Happy Burn:

  • Trim your wick! Before each light, trim the wick to ¼ inch (6mm). This prevents soot, smoke, and uneven burning.
  • First burn matters! Let your candle burn long enough to create a melted wax pool all the way to the edges, preventing tunneling later.
  • Don't drown it! Extinguish your candle before it burns within ½ inch (1.25cm) of the container. This prevents overheating and allows the glass to cool safely.
  • Find a safe haven. Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from flammable objects, drafts, and anything children or pets can reach.
  • Never leave it alone. Always keep burning candles within sight. Extinguish them before leaving the room or going to sleep.
  • Cleanliness is key. Remove any debris from the wax pool before relighting, and wipe the container edges with a cloth as needed to keep it looking beautiful.
  • Fresh air is good. Burn your candle in a well-ventilated room, but avoid strong drafts that can cause uneven burning.

Get the Most Out of Your Abboo Candle:

  • Don't rush it. Burn your candle for 1 hour per inch in diameter of the container at a time for an optimal burn experience.
  • Extinguish smartly. Don't blow out the flame! Use a snuffer or dip the wick into the wax pool (straighten it up first!), then remove it.
  • Store it right. Keep your unlit candle in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. This will help the fragrance last longer.
  • Recycle and reuse! Once you've enjoyed your candle, reuse the container for something special!

Wax Melts

Melt safely and savor the fragrance:

  • Warmer love: Only use wax melts in an electric or tealight wax warmer designed for that purpose.
  • Read it first: Follow the instructions for your specific wax warmer to ensure safe use.
  • Just a cube (or two): Use one or two wax melts at a time, depending on your warmer dish size and desired fragrance strength. Pro tip: use a flip dish liner to make changing your wax clean & easy.
  • Don't overwork it: Melt your wax for up to 4 hours at a time. Once the fragrance weakens, it's time for a new melt! Pro tip: put your warmer on a smart plug timer and never forget to turn it off again!
  • Store safely: Keep your wax melts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve their fragrance.

Room Sprays

Shake, spritz, and enjoy a delightful aroma!

  • Shake it up! Give your room spray a gentle shake before each use to disperse the fragrance oils for an even mist.
  • Avoid hard surfaces: Do not spray directly on wood or painted surfaces.
  • Respect for textiles: Do a spot test on an inconspicuous area of fabric furniture or curtains before spraying liberally, to check for staining.
  • Proper storage: Store your room spray upright in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. This helps the fragrance last longer.
  • Safety first: Keep room sprays out of reach of children and pets. Room sprays are flammable, so avoid spraying near open flames or heat sources.
  • Do not use on people or pets: Don't spray directly on people or pets. Our room sprays are not intended to be used as a body spray.
  • Keep it clean: Wash your hands if you come in direct contact with the spray.

Reed Diffusers

Uncap a world of fragrance with ease!

  • Find the perfect spot: Place your diffuser on a flat surface, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts. This prevents the fragrance from evaporating too quickly.
  • Unleash the scent: Remove the plug or seal from the diffuser bottle.
  • Insert the reeds: Carefully insert the reeds into the oil. The reeds will absorb the fragrance and diffuse it into the air.
  • Control the intensity: The number of reeds you use affects the fragrance strength. Start with a few reeds and add more for a stronger scent.
  • Safety first: Keep the diffuser out of reach of children and pets. Diffuser oil is flammable, so avoid placing it near open flames or heat sources.
  • Enjoy long-lasting fragrance: Reeds can last for several months, but replace them when they become clogged or the scent weakens significantly.
  • Keep it clean: Wash your hands after coming in contact with the reeds or diffuser base.
